Wonder draft 2

 

In life making fun of people does not help you.  It just makes things worse for you and other people. A boy with a deformed face named Auggie, with strong character traits like his perseverance being made fun of.  R.J Palacio Wrote wonder because just like her kids saw a boy with a deformed face.  She does not want us to scream and be scared just like her kids.  R.J Palacio at least wants us to not judge someone by what they look like, she wants us to talk to them first at least say hi.   This book is a very inspirational book to me if you read it you might think that too.       

               Throughout the story kids make fun of his face like the character Julian, who started a war with Auggie. Where if you touch him you get the plague.  A lot of people were on Julian side, and only some on Auggie's side.  Most girls were on both sides.  Auggie didn't really care and got used to it than the other kids started to get closer to Auggie after 2/3 months.  That shows that he has very good perseverance and does not care what other people say and just keeps driving.       
Later in the story, Auggie went on a field trip to a nature center and stayed there for 3 days.  At the end of day 3 they watched a movie outside on a huge screen. Jack had to go the bathroom and the line to the bathroom was long so they went into the forest.  After they were done and they ran into some 7^th and 8^th graders. The 7^th and 8^th graders shined a flash light on Auggie and they screamed “Monster!”  This makes Auggie feel different then the 7^th and 8^th graders started chasing them and after they ran away Auggie even made two new friends that were mean to him before.            

 By the end of the story Auggie won the Henry ward Beecher medal for being a really good friend.  “Using his quiet strength” to lift up kid’s hearts and his perseverance.  "I started paying attention, for real now, to what he was saying." “The strength of one’s courage" he repeated quietly, nodding and smiling".  Auggie really started paying attention to what Mr. Tushman was saying.  All the kids cheered for him when he went up to the stage everybody liked him because he was a good friend accept Julian of course still didn't like Auggie.

The Run 2 (Chapter 4 Training)

"Time to wake up guys!  We need to get ready for our first  training day."  Quentin, Mike John and Jude got up walked to the commander.  "What are we going to do today commander?"  said Quentin,  "Please just call me Jonathan. Oh yea...also we have a special trainer call him W.O.L.F.",  "OK," Quentin, Mike, John and Jude replied.  The new S.M.F team walked to the training field and they met W.O.L.F.  "OK.  The first order of business of the day is that you guys will run across that field to me and there are going to be some surprises along the way," said W.O.L.F.  "Go!" W.O.L.F yelled.  The new S.M.F team took off.   Quentin and Jude were running head-to-head when Jude pulled ahead and then suddenly a dummy popped out and Jude sliced it with his foot.  John came out of nowhere.  He could have crawled under some spikes but instead he jumped over them and barely landed ahead of the spikes. He then lost his balance and fell down and hit Quentin's foot which knocked over Jude.  Quentin was able to keep his balance and kept running and Mike was right behind Quentin because Quentin was running out of breath.  A robotic dummy popped out of nowhere and Quentin thought oh no, it's going to slow me down.  So instead, Quentin ripped the dummy of the ground and threw it behind him and it hit Mike and he fell down.  Jude finally caught up and Quentin knocked Jude over and they both lost their balance in front of the finish line.  Quentin was crawling towards the finish line but John stepped on his hand on purpose and was about to win when Mike threw John backwards and crossed the finish line first.  "Wow!  Since you guys put on quite a show, that is the end of training and Mike gets another gadget because he won."

The Run 2 (Chapter 3 The Switch)

Quentin, Mike, John, and Jude landed in the U.S.A in the airplane not knowing what was going to happen next.  They landed and planned to get in a vehicle after they got onto the ground.  But instead when they got outside the plane, they were surrounded by the military. "Uh oh! We're not going to get out of this one!" Quentin said.  Even Gabe was at the airport and got caught somehow.  "Kneel down and puts your hands up!"  said the commander into the microphone. "We have a question for you guys." said the commander.  "What do you want?" said Quentin.  "Do you guys wanna join the Secret Military Force aka  S.M.F. or do you wanna be shot?"  responded the commander.  "John, Mike, Jude, and I wanna join the S.M.F,"  responded Quentin.  "I will not join some goody two-shoes team," said Gabe.  So they shot Gabe in the arm once and left him there.  The military took Quentin, Mike, John and Jude to their training and gave them all of their new gadgets.  But before they left for the military base Quentin asked, "What year is it?"  "It is 2037,"  said a soldier.  "So are you saying we had been frozen for 22 years?" asked Quentin.  "Yup," said the soldier.  

Science class (you might think it's boring, but its not)

Today in science, we were doing our gravity cruisers.  We were doing our usual thing.  Building.  One of my teammates gets frustrated a lot but I don't blame him.  So it was time to clean up and we were doing one last thing and one of my teammates messed up and broke the whole thing.  So then we started to clean up and after we finished cleaning up, I went over to John.  I said, "I wish our teammates had more knowledge about the whole engineering thing."  Then John responded, "It does not matter how smart or how not smart you are, it matters that you have a desire to get to one goal."  I thought in my head...Wow! that really means a lot.  Then it was time to switch classes so I went to go see Mike and I told him what John said to me and he responded and said, "Wow! That was like out of a book or something!" 

The movie Selma

The movie Selma i want to see badly i saw the trailer and it looked like the white people were torture for the black people.  I am glad Martin Luther king Jr. lived because it would be horrible to have war all the time.  I would want to see how he beat that army he had to fight and against the president.  i think this relates to the Ferguson incontinent because there was looting and all that stuff because they did not have a leader Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader that's how we got trough the thing with Martin Luther King Jr.  Here is the Selma trailer.          

The Run 2 (Chapter 2 The Boring Plane Ride)

"Oh my god suddenly I have to go to the bathroom so badly" said Quentin,  mike replied "yea.  I am also so hungry!".  "there is M.R.E's in the back mike and there is a bathroom to Quentin" said john.  "bla" screeched mike.  Mike went to the back of the airplane mike turned around and said "I cant find the M.R.E's John!"  john replied "there on the left!"  mike turned around and saw a 23 year old guy in his face. Mike quickly got into a punching stance.  "uh john you might wanna come and see this!" said mike.  "who are you what do you want" said john.  "my name is Jude I am the repair man of this plane I am a black belt in karate and I do no harm" said Jude in a calm voice.  come sit down and we will talk.  "we are landing in the U.S.A" said Quentin.

busy busy busy

I always do my blog as the last thing.  so I sometimes only have 3 minutes to write something just like now.  so I then I don't have enough time to write the run 2 or anything so again I cant think of something short so please give me ideas of stuff I can write about in the comments.

Lazy

Here's another boring day when I get home and go to start my blogging and have nothing to write about so here I am writing about being lazy.  "Quentin start your homework!"  yelled my mom  "OK fine!" I moaned.  That's how the day starts after school.  Now that's how you write a story people!!!! Like a boss!!! Wait wait let me guess its horrible but whatever ...

Wonder Litaracy Essay (Updated)

              Even the parents would be mean to Auggie.   His classes had these big projects and he would present them in the gym.  Only his friends parents would view his project and not the other parents just because of his face.  he always got embarrassed.  but got through it with his perseverance.  That shows that  every body even the parents that have not even talked to him think that they don't like him just of what his face looks like.

The Run 2 (Chapter 1 Escape!)

"John, John, John!" Quentin said.  John replied "what, what do you need".  Quentin replied "I got out of my freeze cell because I think there is an earthquake happening right now.  John yelled "wait what the is an earthquake right now!?!?  "Yea" Quentin said, John said " then let wake up Michale!"  "Lets both bang on his cell"  Then Mike woke up easily this time.  Quentin and John explained to Mike what was happening at the moment.  "Then lets get the heck out of here!"  They all started to run out of the room.  Rumble rumble rumble.  It was hard for them to run because of the ground shaking so much.  They all finally got outside.  They all looked around for a some sort of transportation.  They did not see anything.  "Where should we go!" John screamed Quentin replied "to a hanger duh!" they all got into the airplane they found the closest plane possible.  "Get in! Get in!" Quentin yelled.  Quentin took the wheel mike opened the hangar door and got in the plane and closed the plane door.  Quentin got on the runway they got to full speed, was about to lift off and from the earthquake a crack in the runway suddenly Quentin quickly turned the airplane onto the grass and the plane started to spin.  Quentin tried to get control of the plane.  the plane finally stopped spinning.  for some reason the crack in the runway was getting bigger and coming towards the stopped plane.  Quentin and John put the plane on full speed they only moved a little bit.  "were not getting enough friction on the grass!" Mike screamed.  Quentin and John put on full speed again this time they got back on the runway.  They went the opposite way the crack was this time they got in the air.  "Oh my god that was scary Mike and Quentin wheezed.
